One system for the trades business

Webagent builds websites and work tools for trades businesses in Norway: a quoting calculator, project management, time tracking and a customer overview — all in one system. Enquiries from the website land straight in the customer overview, quotes are built from materials and hours, and the hours your staff log become the basis for invoicing.

01The problem

The admin gets done in the evenings

For many tradespeople the week looks like this: on-site work all day, then quotes in Word, paper timesheets and invoicing in the evening. The projects live in someone's head, and customers who call get an answer when there's time.

It works — right up until there are enough jobs at once. Then a quote slips here, a timesheet there, and the invoice goes out weeks after the job was done. Evenings and weekends disappear into paperwork that doesn't earn a single krone.

02The solution

From enquiry to invoice in one system

We build one system that follows the job all the way: the enquiry comes in through the website, the quote is built in the calculator with materials and hours, the project gets status and milestones, and hours are logged from the phone out on the job.

When the job is done, the invoicing basis is already there — the hours and materials are in the system. And if you use accounting software today, we connect to it instead of replacing it. That way you don't type the same numbers twice: first in the timesheet, then in the invoice.

03Included

What's included in the trades system

Everything below is part of the same system — from the first enquiry to the last invoice.

A website that brings in jobs

Customers find you and send an enquiry straight from the website — it lands directly in your customer overview.

Quoting calculator

Build quotes from materials and hours using templates, instead of starting from a blank Word document.

Project management

Every project has status, milestones and documents in one place — not in one person's head.

Time tracking on mobile

Your staff log hours out on the job. The timesheets are complete by the end of the week.

Invoicing basis and HSE

Hours and materials become the invoicing basis for your accounts, and HSE documentation and SHA checklists live in the same system.

Operations and further development

We host, monitor and keep developing the solution over time. You have one partner to call, not four vendors.

04Customer case

7Fjell Bygg & Maling

For 7Fjell Bygg & Maling, a construction and painting business in Bergen, we built a website with a quoting system for their customer handling: enquiries come in through the website and are followed up in the system.

The solution is built on the same platform as the rest of our projects and can be extended as the needs change — without starting over.

05Questions and answers

Questions about the trades system

What does a system for trades businesses cost?

A website starts at 1,740 NOK/month excl. VAT, and a tailored system with quoting calculator and project management from 4,190 NOK/month. No setup cost, and the agreement runs for 12 months from launch.

Does the time tracking work on mobile?

Yes. Your staff log hours from their phones out on the job, and the hours are gathered per project automatically. No paper notes to decipher on Friday.

Can the system connect to our accounting software?

Usually, yes. If your accounting software has an API, we'll connect to it, so the invoicing basis goes there without manual retyping.

What about HSE documentation?

HSE documentation and SHA checklists live in the same system as the projects. The paperwork is filled in where the work happens and is all in one place when someone asks for it.

How long does it take to get started?

We start with a free sketch — a clickable prototype of your website within 3 business days. If you say yes, we build it out, and you pay only once the website is ready.

We're only two people — is this too big for us?

No. The system is set up with what you need and nothing more. A small business often starts with the website, quoting and time tracking, and adds project management and more users when needed.
